We have been hard at work at our High Park Campus. Each time we walk into the building, we are blown away by how different it looks! There has been so much progress over the past few weeks. Our vision is coming to life right before our eyes!
Our backyard has begun it’s transformation to become a bright, park-like oasis. The turf install is complete and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! We are looking forward to the spring time to plant trees and beautiful garden beds.
The fence for our enclosed yard has also been installed. This enclosed part of our yard will be a spacious play around for our youngest Clover students.
At The Clover School, we believe that connectedness to nature and the physical world around us is essential to our wellbeing. With that in mind we have installed a rock garden outdoor classroom space for open-air learning. Taking classrooms outside offers more than just a change of scenery – it can inspire new ways to teach and learn!
It has been amazing to watch the interior of our space come together! The building has so much natural charm and character and our design plans will preserve and highlight these elements. Work is well underway to transform the building’s interior into an airy, warm and inviting space.
We have reconfigured the interior space to create eight classrooms in total. On our ground floor you will find Toddler, Pre-Primary and Primary classes. The second floor will be home to Primary, Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary classrooms. All of our rooms are very spacious with lots of natural light and original hardwood flooring.
There is a lot happening behind the scenes. Walls have been framed and are getting drywalled. There is electrical and mechanical work taking place to bring all of the building’s systems up to date. We are happy to share that we are on track for our renovation work to be completed by mid-December, well in time for our January open. Meanwhile, we are busy making decisions on colours and finishes – we can’t wait to share with you when it all comes together!
